Wheat fibre

The bran is the outside part of the wheat grain. It is extremely rich in fibre, as well as in minerals such as potassium, phosphorus and magnesium. The European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) has also granted it a health claim: "wheat bran helps to accelerate intestinal transit".
